Rotron Inc. was founded by J. Constant van Rijn in 1947 when he identified a need for small, highly reliable fans and blowers in the electronics industry. Two years later, the company was formally incorporated due to expanding business. The Commercial Fan Division of Rotron became Comair Rotron in July 1986. The company relocated from New York to San Diego in 1990. In 2008, Comair Rotron was acquired by W.E.T. Automotive Systems, AG. Founded in 1968, W.E.T Automotive is the world market-leader in automotive seat-climate systems. With over 5,000 employees, W.E.T. Automotive operates state-of-the-art production facilities in China, Mexico and Ukraine as well as design and customer-service centers in Germany, China, Korea, Japan, Hungary, Canada and the U.S.A. With its acquisition of Comair Rotron, W.E.T. Automotive has made a long-term strategic commitment to bring its world-class quality and operational excellence to Comair Rotron's customers worldwide Since the name Rotron first appeared, over 100 million fans have been produced by the company for commerce and industry. Headquartered in Shanghai, China, Comair Rotron products are assembled in W.E.T. Automotive's production facilities worldwide. A Comair Rotron fan module includes a complete assembly consisting of fans, controller, printed circuit board, sheet metal enclosure, harnessing, and electronic and air filtering. Comair Rotron has set the worldwide standard in the design of forced air electronic component cooling devices. |

A staff of experienced Applications Engineers work with the customer in designing their system. All of our engineers act as problem solvers. Our Product Design Engineers use a fully integrated Computer Added Design system to meet special design requirements and modifications of our existing product line. Customer Service assists in processing and fulfilling requirements. Quality Assurance ensures that high standards are maintained. Manufacturing builds to your requirements when you need it. Comair Rotron's staff of professionals are ready to work with you on your movement application needs, from project inception through production. Comair Rotron's continuing research and development assures you that your project utilizes the latest in technology. Our product designing utilizes empirical data from our motor and acoustic lab facilities to optimize performance.
Our strategic co-location in W.E.T. Automotive's production facilities worldwide adds further value by reducing transportation time and costs and ensures that our products meet the most demanding quality standards. Our commitment to quality makes Comair Rotron motors highly reliable and competitive. All products are vigorously tested and inspected, and critical parameters on all motors are tested to 5 Sigma. In addition to Statistical Process Control, Comair Rotron performs periodic audits on each product to assure precise quality control. Comair Rotron is an ISO 9001 certified company. |

Comair Rotron's sales organization is a team of highly qualified individuals working to assure the customer that they are getting the best product with the best service possible. Our staff consists of electrical and mechanical engineers experienced in working with the customers' design team to apply the proper product and options in the most optimal manner within the customer's assembly. Our Customer Service representatives work with the customer to quickly process the order and to optimize scheduling of products as well as work any other issue the customer might have. Comair Rotron is continuing to develop products and value added capabilities to maintain and expand our brisk growth rate. We are currently working on products which will extend our performance envelope as well as enhancing our current products. We always have our minds open to the requests and ideas of customers to better enable us to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers. |
